Hello, my name is Annemarie (60). I am German and was born after the war. My friend David (64)lives in Wales. He would like to contact a former war prisoner Hans (by my assistance in translating letters or e-mails). But David does not know, if Hans is still alive. If yes, so where he lives now - in Germany. Hans was kept in the camp No. 198 "Island Farm" in Bridgend and came regularly to visit David's family. David was a 5 years old boy then and has had happy memories about the sophisticated toys for his sister and himself, which Hans had built by simple means and materials at those difficult years after the war. Hans was in the age of approximately 20 - 22 years at those times. Is there an alphabetical list of German war prisoners, who were kept in the mentioned camp and were can David have a look into this list in Bridgend? Hope for a reply. Kind regards to all from Anne
