Hello, there isn't much about camp 48. I posted a message on http://www.online-archaeology.co.uk/Contribute/ArchaeologyArticles/tabid/85/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/4/UK-POW-Camps-in-WW2-by-Gordon-Wilkie.aspx You will find at the bottom of the page on the above mentioned website my request and what was the answer. I didn't get in touch yet with the tourist office in Presteigne but I' going to do it in the next few days. Where are you from? Regards. A. Pluda
